If you cannot serve on your assigned date, please call someone else on the list to arrange for a substitute.
Greeters should stand at both of the main entrances to the Sanctuary, one from the Kent Room side and one from the Watauga Street side.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR GREETERS:
Greeters should stand at both of the main entrances to the Sanctuary, one from the Kent Room side and one from the Watauga Street side.
1. Begin greeting 20 minutes before the service.
2. Wear Greeter tag or make a nametag.
3. Spot visitors when the Rector asks them to stand. Daughters of the King will be spotting the visitors also and will present them with a welcoming bag which contains a Visitor's Card, information about St. Paul's Church, and a loaf of bread.
4. After the service meet the visitors. Invite them to the coffee hour and introduce them to other parishioners. Daughters of the King will be meeting them also. We don't want to overwhelm our visitors, but we do want them to know that we welcome them.
